About
Ride For Emma is one of the big events for Emma’s Bubble Trust an active, vibrant charity established in early 2008. As a living memory and tribute to Emma Louise Brandon, Emma’s Bubble Trust is committed to raising as much money as possible to help alleviate the physical and emotional suffering of teenagers who find themselves afflicted by cancer.
The yearly event came about after Adam Lynch, close family friend of Emma, decided that it would be a good idea to ride the length and width of the country undertaking the John ‘O’ Groats to Lands End trek accompanied by friends Luke Chambers and Rob Phillips. The ride was completed in 10 days, raising valuable publicity for Emma’s Bubble Trust in its debut year.
2009 brings with it a bigger crowd and accompanied by Emma’s Army we are proud to announce the Emma’s Bubble Trust London to Brighton Challenge. The event taking place on 28th June 2009, with more details to follow. Why not join in by signing up here. The event will be open to people of all ages and abilities and as of yet have no reason to restrict numbers (this may however change if it gets too popular).
All proceeds raised by the event will be donated directly to Emma’s Bubble Trust who focus their fundraising efforts on the specialist teenage cancer units being installed throughout the UK as these are special places enabling others like Emma to just be teenagers.
